About

Founder of Organize This, Suzanne Heide

Hi, I’m Suzanne, a Professional Organizer specializing in decluttering and minimalism. Let me tell you a bit more about myself!

I was born and raised in beautiful Brandon, Manitoba. Throughout my adult life I’ve always had a love for travel; whether it was to a sunny destination or exploring a new city. In 2005, with a desire for new adventures, I decided to move to the biggest city in Canada; Toronto, Ontario. In Manitoba, the slogan on our licence plates is “Friendly Manitoba”, and all these years later I still pride myself in representing that slogan. I’m friendly, fun, and adventurous. I’m also easy-going, caring, and understanding. While working with clients, I feel I have a special way of putting them at ease, and even like to have a little fun!

I started Organize This in 2012 and became a member of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) shortly after. I earned my certificate as a Trained Professional Organizer via POC and have formerly served on the Executive as the Communications Coordinator for the Toronto Chapter. In the spring of 2021 I broadened my horizons by getting my certificate as a Certified Virtual Professional Organizer so I could help clients from anywhere in the world. I have also attained a spot on the List of Experts at Getting Organized Magazine. Most recently, I have become a subscriber to the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) and have achieved the Level I Foundation Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization. I am also a member of the Tiny Home Builders Association of Canada, as well as a contributor to the Tiny House Alliance USA.

My love for tiny homes and decluttering fused together in the past couple of years. I started working with clients who were preparing to go tiny and needed to downsize, but I continue to work with all clients that want to live with less. For me, helping clients isn’t just something I do for money, I truly have a passion for helping people, and it shows.
